Update: The update is now live. Basically, anything that could have gone wrong, did. Everything seems to be back to normal now though.

Maintenance Complete!

The maintenance for today is complete and the site has been up for a good hour with solid performance. We had a problem with the rails on the server and the rack but we got everything working and set back up. We unfortunately need another hour of downtime sometime in the next few weeks to fix a bad RAM DIMM.

NIC Card Failure

Hardware link to mysql server is not responding. Defaulting over to backup link and investigating the failure.

Update:: The server's NIC card has failed and is returning EEPROM checksum errors. With the site running on the backup NIC, I will suspend repair until Weds or Thurs. At that time we will run other scheduled repairs, which include a router replacement, RAM upgrade and kernel updates.

Website Update

Making some routine updates to the servers. Also, making a router firmware update. *Crosses Fingers*

Update:: Wow! That is do not as planned at all! After router update, the router crashed and we hard reset and ended up having to reconfigure the whole thing. Everything seems to be up now.

Server Migration

We are currently in the process of moving to a better datacenter. Estimated downtime: 2 hours.

Update:: Wow! What a long day! Everything is up and running in tip-top shape. We have been running smoothly for the past few hours but there were still some tiny network delays that we just finished sorting out.

MySQL migration in progress

We have hit some hiccups and the MySQL migration will be completed over night. We will update you further once everything has been restored and completed.

Update:: After a long day or restores and hard drives, the MySQL is up and running. We just have to fix a few paths in the deVolf config and then everything should be back up and running.
